Facilitating employment

By Emma Harrington

Not only are children displaced by the Boko Haram, but women are targeted also. Thousands of women have been terrorized by this Islamic Extremist Group, and when they are rescued they are left without anyone to help them survive.

OUR VISION:

When looking at the staggering numbers of women who are affected by terrorism, procare decided that the way they can support women is by teaching them to support themselves. Procare will provide networking between the women and established tradesmen who can teach them their own trades, and therefore grant them a stable income. This income will mainly come from tailoring, textiles, or street Kiosks.

NEEDS:

$160 (€145) to Open a street Kiosk

$125 (€114) to buy a sewing machine
